I've read a lot of his articles over the years. Don't always agree with his opinions, but you can't often argue with his facts.

The only thing I can add to this speaking from personal experience is, Don't let your wife unit use your special Colt ar-15 national match carbine you spent 1 year making close to perfect, for a deer rifle.
She will drop deer all over the fricken place until you tell her to stop, we are out of tags!
This is the same rifle we take out west and shoot prarie dogs with so I'm not suprised in the least.
Women tend to be very good shots.

Ahh, there's a simple enough fix for that. Clearly, she needs her own rifle.:smile:
As if anyone needs an(other) excuse to buy another rifle :beer:

She has a rifle I built just for her, a .308 Mauser that doesn't kick.
The lovely Mrs Irons suggested a rifle that would kill anything on the planet, but doesn't kick her into next week.
I did that, a totally custom rifle mag-na-ported and the damn thing kicks about like a .410
She still takes my guns every chance she gets. It will never end.:bear_rolleyes:
